Review on Hawaii Revealed app

The app was great. Very easy searching and map features but like almost

every other app, you have to pay for extensive features and the ui design after a while wasnt as consistant through the app therefore it fell short.

Review on Trinidad and Tobago offline map

A big step for tourism in Trinidad and Tobago, this app is a very good informative app, from making reservations to finding your way around, this app gives you what you need to know about both countries in the palm of your hands. Now, you can have your trip under control by designing an itinerary, and so much more. the ui design just is really average but the content is really good

Analyse a client brief to inform the development of a digital design and content strategy.

My goals and objectives for this assignment are to produce an app working under the body of the ministry of design to boost tourism in Trinidad or Tobago. This app is targeted at foreigners ages 18 to 50 who can use the app to navigate our country, follow events, find locations and more. This app includes 3 different types of information as follows, 1 Major and 1 minor event, 3 site seeing locations and 2 local restaurants. The use of these pages is to inform the user of the many activities we have in our country. In addition to the app, I have to also submit a report and a developmental blog.

Industry standard tools and techniques
In this assignment the steps were to sitemaps, wireframe and prototype. In the sitemapping stage, I got the professional use of the website Gloomaps, the wireframing was done in Adobe Illustrator and the Prototype was done in Adobe XD. All of which are recognized software. My project follows the themes and principles of UI and UX Designs as well as typography and colour design.
My Design Choices
At first I was going with a grey and white theme with red black and white but that quickly changed as it wasn’t aesthetic. Instead I opted on going with a tropical picture as a highlight as we are a carribean country, a white background so everything fits and shows clearly with hints of red black and white throughout the app giving it a pop of Trinidad culture and colour. Red, black and white is the hell of graphic design to pull together but since I used it in moderation, it worked out pretty well. The overall app I wanted to keep it clean, information heavy and concise. I think this app achieved its purpose

Feedback and changes

This was the initial vibe of the app but it changed.

The only issue professionals had with my app was the welcome page, the title is too big for screens with bezels and the get started button was of centered everything else in my app was really commendable and they loved how i used the red, black and white in it.
